Mewar enjoys a well-rounded rich history. From a huge dynasty of rulers that have done us proud to the culture that still prevails to the flora and fauna that has never failed to provide well for the community, Mewar has it all.
Maharana of Mewar Charitable Fund (MMCF) recently sanctioned a financial assistance towards an initiative to get the World up and close with Mewar. Professor S. S Katewa, Department of Botany, University College of Science, Udaipur was invited to attend an International Congress titled ‘World Congress of the International Union of Antrhopological and Ethnological Scinces 2013’ at Manchester. He presented a well-researched paper, ‘Indigeneous People and Wild Food’ that was aimed at unveiling Mewar and the abundant bounties of nature it enjoys, to the world. MMCF is happy to have been able to support this effort to take Mewar to the world.
