A peek into the glorious past of Mewar, Harmony Celebrate Age has covered the newly launched Silver Gallery at Zenana Mahal, City Palace, Udaipur. The article titled ‘Silver Virtues’ beautifully covers the Splendour of Silver spread over 7,100 sq. ft. divided into 7 rooms and showcasing big and small artefacts ranging from a horse carriage to make-up kits to decanters to an entire ‘mandap’ and much more.
Hotel Scapes, a cross section publication, brought in focus the eminent personalities in the hospitality landscape. Sharing the space was Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur, Executive Director, HRH Group of Hotels. He gave great insights into the nitty-gritties of the all-embracing business while managing the work-force to keep them motivated. He fondly recollected the time he entered the industry as an employee and commented, “If I had not been motivated I would have never entered this industry. I continue to remain motivated even today..”
The article brings into clear perspective the big asset that the heritage hotels are to India and to the new age traveller. Brought into focus was HRH Group of Hotels, with the regal experiences it offers with island-palaces, museums, galleries, car collections and luxury heritage hotels across Rajasthan. “Tourists these days, be they foreign or domestic, want to experience something special, to witness local distinctiveness, and connect with a historical past that standardised five-star hotels cannot offer. All hotels and resorts under the HRH Group have this. These were all at some point palaces and private residences of a royal family. No established luxury brand can ever create this from a new build, where every wall, every door, every stone has a story. Heritage hotels allow guests a chance to relive history and understand our evolution, be it cultural, socio-economic or political,” mentions Kunal Singh Chawra, General Manager – sales, HRH Group of Hotels.
